Selection Challenges Across Diverse Products and Conditions

General industrial applications include cabinets, shelving, machinery enclosures, pipelines and metal structures. The range covers indoor decorative parts, outdoor equipment and heavy-duty corrosion applications. Differences in substrate, geometry, appearance and service environment make a single powder system unsuitable for all needs.

Select the System by Indoor or Outdoor Use, Appearance and Function

    • Indoor decorative parts: pure epoxy or epoxy-polyester systems.
    • Sand texture, orange peel or hiding effects: textured powders.
    • General outdoor equipment: polyester systems.
  • Pipelines and highly corrosive structures: pure or heavy-duty epoxy.
  • Veri Coating offers smooth, textured, insulating and heavy-duty products, combined according to exposure and required appearance.

General Standards and Key Performance Indicators

  • Adhesion, impact, bending and hardness.
  • Salt spray, humidity and general chemical resistance.
  • Xenon-arc exposure, gloss retention and colour change for outdoor products.
  • Gloss, texture and batch consistency for textured finishes.
  • Pinholes, edge coverage and recoat adhesion for thick-film systems.
  • Final standards should be selected according to equipment use and customer specifications.

Process Risks in Complex Geometry, Short Runs and Colour Changes

Cabinet folds, welds, recesses and deep cavities are prone to low film build. Long, thin parts may distort during curing. Textured powders are sensitive to film thickness and cure, while short runs and multiple colours require control of booth cleaning, reclaim ratio and batch variation.

Future Trend: Flexible Manufacturing and Integrated Functions

General industrial coatings are moving toward lower-temperature curing, faster colour change, thinner films and integrated functions. Decorative, corrosion-resistant, insulating and special-effect properties will increasingly be combined within common product platforms for short runs, high product variety and automated production.
