Cabinet folds, welds, recesses and deep cavities are prone to low film build. Long, thin parts may distort during curing. Textured powders are sensitive to film thickness and cure, while short runs and multiple colours require control of booth cleaning, reclaim ratio and batch variation.
General industrial coatings are moving toward lower-temperature curing, faster colour change, thinner films and integrated functions.
