1. Order Cancellation
Orders may be cancelled before production begins, subject to confirmation by VeriCoating.
Once production has started, an order may not normally be cancelled, especially for products made or adjusted to customer-specific color, gloss, texture, performance or other requirements.
If VeriCoating agrees to a cancellation after production has started, the customer may be responsible for reasonable costs already incurred, including raw materials, production and packaging.
2. Product Claims
If a customer believes that a product does not meet the agreed specification or has a quality issue, the customer should contact VeriCoating promptly after discovery.
To help us investigate the claim, the customer should provide the Order No., product SKU, batch number, description of the issue, and relevant photos, videos, test results or application information where applicable.
Product performance may be affected by substrate condition, pretreatment, film thickness, curing conditions, application equipment and other processing factors. A coating application problem does not by itself establish a product quality defect.
3. Resolution of Confirmed Quality Claims
If a claim is confirmed to be attributable to the supplied product, VeriCoating will normally resolve the claim by either: (a) free replacement of the affected product; or (b) issuance of a Credit Note for the agreed value of the affected product.
Credit Notes may be applied against future purchases from VeriCoating.
Refunds are not a standard remedy under this policy. In exceptional cases, another resolution may be agreed in writing between VeriCoating and the customer.
4. Physical Returns
Due to the nature of powder coatings and the requirements associated with international transportation and customs clearance, physical returns are generally not required.
No product should be returned without prior written authorization from VeriCoating.
If VeriCoating exceptionally authorizes a return for reasons not attributable to product quality, the product must normally be unopened, unused, uncontaminated and in its original packaging. Transportation, customs, duties and other related costs will normally be borne by the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5. Shipping and Storage Damage
Powder coatings should be transported and stored under suitable conditions and in accordance with the applicable TDS and product instructions. Products should be kept sealed in a dry, cool place and protected from direct sunlight, excessive heat and moisture.
Damage or deterioration caused by improper storage after delivery, prolonged heat exposure, contamination, or handling outside the agreed transportation and storage conditions is not considered a product quality defect.
Responsibility for loss or damage during transportation will be determined according to the agreed delivery terms (Incoterms) and the circumstances of the shipment.
6. General
This policy is intended to provide a practical process for order cancellation and product claims. Specific quotation, order or contract terms agreed in writing between VeriCoating and the customer will prevail if they differ from this policy.
