Product Overview

Description

EP0S is a pure epoxy smooth powder coating for high-corrosion-protection primers and high-build coating requirements. It can be applied by electrostatic spraying or fluidized-bed dip coating and can be built up through multiple coats. Through formulation adjustment, the minimum curing temperature can be reduced to 120°C; when used with a polyester topcoat, the system can meet ISO 12944-6 C4–C5 corrosion-protection categories.

Key Features

- Multiple gloss and colour effects available; - chemical and corrosion resistance; - good edge coverage; good compatibility with topcoats; - good powder deposition and coverage.

Best Suited For

- Automotive functional components, such as brake pads, engines and springs; - Corrosion protection of steel structures; - Transformers; - Anticorrosive primers for outdoor construction machinery and energy-storage cabinets; - Internal and external surfaces of metal pipelines; - Metal structural components.
