RFQ & Product Matching
How do I submit a powder coating RFQ?+-
Send your application, substrate, use environment, color, gloss, texture, required standards, annual volume, destination, and target timeline. The more specific the requirement, the faster the review.
Do you match products before quoting?+-
Yes. We review working conditions, substrate, curing window, film thickness, appearance target, and test needs before recommending products or suppliers.
Can you support custom colors or textures?+-
Yes. Custom color, gloss, metallic effect, sand texture, fine texture, and special finish requests can be reviewed with a target panel, RAL reference, photo, or physical sample.
Do buyers communicate directly with suppliers?+-
The supplier system is platform managed. TUBO MATERIALS coordinates supplier capability review, sample response, quotation, lead time, QC, and files to reduce communication cost.
Samples & Testing
Can I request samples before bulk order?+-
Yes. The recommended sourcing path is sample first. Browse the product catalog and request an available sample from the relevant product before bulk order confirmation.
What sample types are available?+-
Depending on product and project stage, samples may include powder samples, coated metal panels, color panels, or project-specific confirmation samples.
Are sample fees deductible?+-
Some sample fees can be deducted from a confirmed bulk order when applicable. The deductible policy is confirmed by product and supplier before the request proceeds.
How long does sample preparation take?+-
Available sample products often show an indicative lead time such as 3-5 business days. Custom color or special performance samples may take longer after technical review.
Quality & Documents
What quality documents can be provided?+-
Available documents may include TDS, SDS, COA, QC report, compliance files, batch records, retained sample records, or other agreed documents depending on the product and supplier.
Which quality tests are commonly reviewed?+-
Common items include color matching, gloss, texture consistency, adhesion, impact resistance, hardness, salt spray resistance, humidity resistance, UV resistance, curing performance, and film thickness.
Can third-party testing be arranged?+-
Important projects can support third-party testing or buyer-designated inspection when required. Test scope, standards, timing, and cost should be confirmed before production.
How is batch consistency managed?+-
For repeat or special projects, batch records, retained samples, key inspection items, and production assumptions can be tracked to support long-term consistency.
Orders, Payment & Shipping
What is the MOQ for trial orders?+-
Each product shows an indicative MOQ. Trial order quantity is confirmed after sample validation, technical review, and supplier capacity check.
Which trade terms are supported?+-
FOB, CIF, EXW, and DDP can be discussed during quotation based on destination, logistics preference, product type, and shipment scale.
Which payment methods can be discussed?+-
Common options include T/T. Airwallex or PayPal Business can be discussed for selected sample or project scenarios when available.
What happens before bulk shipment?+-
Before shipment, the project can confirm batch scope, packaging, inspection items, required files, retained sample references, and shipping documents.
