Weathering, corrosion protection and texture stability outdoors

EV charging stations include outdoor charger housings, connector holders, cable guards and related facilities. Long-term exposure to ultraviolet radiation, rain, temperature changes and road contamination requires a balance of weatherability, stain resistance and decorative appearance.

Veri Coating offers standard-durable polyester-TGIC textured powder coatings; fine-sand and wrinkle textures effectively conceal substrate imperfections, while weathering performance meets AAMA 2604 requirements and is supported by xenon-arc and cyclic-corrosion testing.

Application notes: Film thickness and texture consistency should be controlled, welds and grounding points require particular inspection, and the recommended film thickness is 70-120 um.
