Battery Components

High insulation with humidity and thermal-shock resistance

Battery components include traction-battery housings, busbars, cooling systems and other core components for new-energy vehicles. Their high-voltage and high-current service creates stringent requirements for insulation, dielectric strength and reliability.

Veri Coating offers insulating epoxy powder coatings with dielectric strength of at least 35 kV/mm, insulation resistance of at least 1,000 Mohm and volume resistivity of at least 10^14 ohm-cm, while continuing to meet dielectric-withstand requirements after 1,000 hours of neutral salt-spray testing.

Application notes: Complex edges require uniform coverage, and film thickness, curing and insulation performance must be verified for each batch.

Product List

Representative powder coating directions for battery components. Final selection should be confirmed by substrate, pretreatment, target performance, film build, curing window and trial spray result.
