Weatherable systems for complex profiles and long-term exposure
Custom doors and windows include aluminium-alloy doors and windows, metal frames and shutters. Long-term exposure to rain, wind and ultraviolet radiation requires weatherability, corrosion protection, adhesion and stable appearance.
Veri Coating offers standard-durable polyester-HAA textured and smooth powders, together with general-industrial and standard-durable polyester-TGIC smooth powders. The systems are verified by xenon-arc and condensation-water testing and meet AAMA 2603 and relevant national standards for architectural materials. TGIC grades offer a cost advantage over HAA grades.
Application notes: Powder coverage on profile edges, hanging points and temperature should be controlled, with a recommended film thickness of 60-120 um.
