Cookies and browser storage Cookies are small pieces of data stored by a website through your browser and returned to that website with later requests. We use cookies to maintain a secure login session. Local storage and session storage also keep data on your device, but the browser does not automatically send them with every request as it does with cookies. We explain all three technologies here for convenience. ## 2. Optional website analytics We use Google Analytics to understand traffic, page views, sessions, approximate region, and browser and device categories. The analytics tag does not load or send analytics measurement requests before you allow it. We do not enable ad storage, ad personalisation, Google Signals or cross-site advertising tracking through this configuration. > Google Analytics is provided by Google, and related analytics data may be processed outside your region. Why we use these technologies - Authenticate sign-in and protect sessions from misuse; - Keep favourites, drafts and product-selection flows working on the same device; - Restore sourcing or technical-request information you choose to save; - Maintain security, essential functionality and operational continuity; - With consent, measure use of pages and sourcing tools to improve site content and experience. ## 5. Your controls On your first visit, you can allow or reject optional analytics. Rejection does not affect product browsing, sign-in, favourites or business-request features. You can change your choice at any time through “Cookie settings” in the website footer; after withdrawal, we stop subsequent analytics-tag loading and attempt to remove Google Analytics cookies on this domain. Browser settings let you inspect, block or delete cookies, local storage and session storage. Controls are usually under Privacy, Site Data, or Cookies and Site Permissions. Private/incognito browsing can reduce local retention after a session. Blocking essential cookies should not prevent viewing public product pages, but sign-in, account records and protected request flows may stop working. Clearing local storage deletes favourites and unsubmitted drafts on that device, usually without recovery. Signing out invalidates the server-side login session but may not delete browser favourites or drafts. ## 6. Device data versus submitted data Favourites and unsubmitted drafts primarily stay on your device. Form content is sent to our servers only when you submit a sample request, RFQ or technical request. Login status is maintained through essential cookies working with Supabase authentication. After you consent, Google Analytics receives page URL, page title, referrer, browser/device category, approximate region and interaction events. We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, companies, postal addresses or form text in analytics events. ## 7.
